Name the Delta Trap item
Delta Trap is included in Pherobio’s trap directory. Ask the supplier to identify the individual item offered under that name and provide its product description. If a buyer specification already uses a delta-trap label, attach that specification so the supplier can respond to its wording and identify any questions needing clarification.
Make component questions explicit
Request a list of the components in the proposed Delta Trap package. Ask which lure, replacement part or other accessory is being proposed, with its own item identification. Send a photograph and label for an existing trap if the purchase is a replenishment request. Keep each proposed component attached to the package it belongs to when reviewing alternatives.
Describe the monitoring requirement
Give the target identification and the intended setting as project inputs. Explain what information your monitoring team wants to collect. Ask your adviser to review the supplier’s proposed product and instructions before deciding on use. Include any site constraints that need a specific answer, and keep unanswered questions open in the purchasing comparison.
Compare the description before the price
Have the quotation refer to the individual Delta Trap item and its stated contents. Ask the supplier to distinguish the requested package from any proposed alternative. Obtain the relevant product documentation for your reviewer and confirm delivery and minimum-order arrangements through the enquiry. Save the final item description with the approved purchasing request.
